The Guild of Harmony believes the world must be kept in balance - whether it wishes to be or not.
They are not conquerors, criminals, or zealots. They do not seek dominion, wealth, or spectacle. Instead, they move quietly through the fractures of the world, correcting imbalances before they become catastrophes.
Where other pursue power, the Guild pursues equilibrium.
The Doctrine of Balance
To the Guild, chaos and tyranny are equally dangerous. Too much control invites stagnation; too little invites collapse. Harmony, as they define it, exists only in the narrow space between extremes — and it must be enforced.
Their doctrine is not moral in the conventional sense. It is pragmatic, calculated, and coldly analytical. Lives, factions, even cities may be sacrificed if doing so prevents a greater imbalance.
The Guild does not apologize for this.
Balance does not require forgiveness.

Agents of Correction
The Guild operates through carefully selected agents — individuals trained, equipped, and conditioned to intervene precisely and decisively. They strike surgically, removing threats, destabilizing dangerous concentrations of power, and vanishing before their presence becomes widely known.
Their members are scholars, operatives, observers, and executioners — unified not by loyalty to a leader, but by belief in the necessity of their work. Each action is weighed, recorded, and justified within the Guild’s internal calculus.
To the world at large, the Guild is rumour and conjecture.
To those who cross their threshold, they are final.
The Engine and The Ledger
The Guild of Harmony does not worship The Engine — nor do they seek to control it. They regard it as a force to be monitored, measured, and constrained where possible. Its influence is logged, studied, and countered when it threatens to tip the balance beyond recovery.
Where other factions chase mastery or exploitation, the Guild tracks outcomes. Every intervention is entered into an ever-growing ledger of actions and consequences, forming a living record of the world’s instability.
The world, to the Guild, is a problem to be managed.
Necessary Violence
The Guild does not revel in bloodshed — but neither does it shy away from it. Violence is simply another tool, to be applied with precision and restraint. When force is required, it is delivered without hesitation and without excess.
Mercy is a variable. Balance is not.
Playing the Guild of Harmony
On the tabletop, the Guild rewards players who think ahead and control the pace of conflict. They excel at disruption, targeted removal, and responding decisively when the balance of a battle shifts.
They are not designed to overwhelm — they are designed to correct.
