Haystack’s origins remain highly mysterious. Found in a refuse dump by the Guild Anarchists, he is neither Gentlefolk nor human but some strange amalgam of both - possibly brought into being by The Engine for purposes as yet unknown.
What is certain is that Haystack is a dangerous foe to those that oppose the Guild of Harmony. Having proven his worth on more than one occasion despite a reckless attitude bordering on lunacy, Haystack is a valuable ally and his Vermin Clearer is the perfect weapon for scouring the narrow lanes and alleys of London.
